Children's Privacy Notice
Last updated October 14, 2026
Download PDFFamilies trust their clubs with their children's information, and clubs trust Team Scout with it. This notice explains what we keep about children, who can see it, and how you stay in control. It works together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Accounts are for people 13 and older
Team Scout accounts are for people 13 and older. A child under 13 does not have a Team Scout account. A parent or guardian adds the child to their own account and manages the child's profile from there.
What we keep
The information you enter about your child, and the information your child's clubs record to run their programs: your child's name and date of birth, and details such as position, jersey number, and the medical or emergency-contact information a registration asks for or you choose to add.
When you agree to this notice, we keep a record of that agreement and when you gave it.
How we use it
We use your child's information to run your child's part in the clubs and groups you connect them to: registrations, rosters, schedules, and messages to you about them. We do not sell your child's information.
Who can see it
You, the other parents and guardians in your family on Team Scout, and a co-parent you invite to share your child's profile.
The clubs your child takes part in: the club's admins and the coaches of your child's groups see what you entered; other members of a group see what a roster shows, such as your child's name, position and jersey number.
Team Scout staff when they support you or your club.
Your choices
You can see and change your child's profile at any time: on the web under Profile, then My Family, and in the Team Scout phone app under My Players. A child you added yourself can be removed there too.
A registration your child already has stays with that club, which keeps it as our Privacy Policy describes. If you delete your Team Scout account, your child's profile passes to another parent or guardian in your family on Team Scout; if there is none, it stays on Team Scout unless you remove it first.
To ask us to remove your child's information, or with any question about it, email support@teamscout.co.
