OLC’s goal is to grow the game throughout Nebraska. We accomplish that goal by supporting youth clubs that participate in our local Spring league.
Boys and Girls who do not live in Elkhorn, Papillion or Lincoln, would play for Omaha Lacrosse Club. Players who are unable to play for their local club are welcomed to find a home with OLC!
Details
Player Registration
OLC provides a recreational season in which youth teams that practice during the week and play games on the weekends. Players register individually and are rostered on teams with their classmates.
Team Registration
Teams around Nebraska are eligible to register for the OLC Spring League. Registration details can be found below. Team Rosters are due no later than 3/1 and must include US Lacrosse numbers, grade level, jersey number and parent contact. Click HERE to register a team.
Grade Divisions
Boys and Girls
Soft Stick Program - pre k and kindergarten
This is a 6 session program that runs 12pm-12:45pm starting Sunday March 29
1st and 2nd grade
3rd and 4th grade
5th and 6th grade
7th and 8th grade
- Rosters are formed based on school/district. Our primary goal is keeping friends together.
Games
Games will be played on Sundays at the CHI Health Multi-Purpose Complex
Equipment
Boys - helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, stick, mouth guard, cleats, protective cup
Girls - goggles, stick, mouth guard, cleats
Omaha Lacrosse Club knows purchasing all the necessary equipment for boy players can be quite an investment. To help mitigate the cost of new lacrosse players, OLC has an equipment rental program available to first-year male players. At the end of the season you are able to pay an additional fee to purchase the equipment.
OLC has a limited availability of the following equipment to rent:
“Starter packs” which include gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, and a helmet for first-year players to rent for $125 for the season. At the end of the season, you will have the option to purchase the gear or return it.

US Lacrosse
All lacrosse players must have an active USA Lacrosse membership. The annual membership is $35. Learn more about the membership benefits and purchase the membership HERE. An active membership is required to register for the season.

League Format
1/2 Grade Boys - 4v4 with no goalie, played with a 4x4 lacrosse goal
3/4 Grade Boys - 6v6 + goalie, played with a 6x6 lacrosse goal
5/6 & 7/8 Grade Boys - 10v10 played on a full field with 6x6 goals
1/2 & 3/4 Grade Girls - 5v5 + goalie, played with a 4x4 lacrosse goal
5/6 & 7/8 Grade Girls - 12v12 played on a full field with 6x6 goals
